MobEffect finds, films and collectively funds community changing projects all over the world. As a Mob member, you get to see how your help positively effects communities and organizations. We are currently in our Alpha Stage. With the support of 200 people who contributed and downloaded our app, we raised $12,000. The projects below are what MobEffect has done with that money so far. Tramploline House
Through classes, internships, legal assistance, and other support, Trampoline House helps refugees and asylum seekers better assimilate to Denmark. MobEffect donated specifically to the transportation of getting members to and from the Asylum camps and Trampoline House
Joe's Kids
Joe has been teaching kids of Jamestown traditional drumming, singing and dancing for years. Some of his drums need to be fixed, he is in need of some new drums and his students would like some new costumes for performances.
Care packages for Caregivers
Cocktails for Chemo is the only organization that focuses on the caregivers. Among other great work, they focus on getting care packages to the caregivers. MobEffect helped get 10 care packages out to caregivers who were nominated.
Using Video to help those with Aspergers
The students of Temple Grandin School in Boulder Colorado had an idea. They want to create original video content to help others with Aspergers. MobEffect gave them computers to help with this project and with other creative ventures for years to come.
First user based project!
Hannah wanted to help the homeless community in Milwaukee. With the help of her friends and MobEffect she was able to fill backpacks with essentials to give out to those in need.
Perma-Gardens in Malawi
Harsh climate makes it difficult to grow produce in Malawi. Perma-gardening is a unique technique to that helps make growing produce possible. MobEffect helped with 2 gardens in a local community.
First Inspired Project
We have found it difficult to discover projects on our own. Wonderful stories are told and shared on social media everyday. MobEffect found a video about the New York Milk Bank done by Great Big Story. We wanted to help so we bought them a new fridge. With it they now deliver more milk to more babies.
